Crossroads of Twilight by Robert Jordan

Series: Book Ten of The Wheel Of Time

Rating: 3/5

Writing Style: Alright. Not quite a page turner. Unless it is more in  the sense of grinding through the current section faster in hopes for the next chapter being better.

Summary: A regular fantasy adventure series; quests, heroes, villains, magic.

Comments: Personally I gave up on this series after the last book. It has so many good ideas in it that never get written about. Instead it spends about half the word space describing clothes. Lots of clothes. Lots of details on lace and frills.. whatever. Maybe two small pieces about the villains in the book. And the true bad guys are the regular evil for evil sake with no other purpose than evil. So I guess I liked this series much more a decade ago when the series was starting out. Sigh. I am mostly sad because there are awesome ideas in the book that never get page time.
