Matt Hughes loses to Thiago Alves

Thiago dominated the fight. Matt Hughes is still awesome, but it looks like the younger new champs are taking MMA to the next level. Definitely Ready to watch Matt whoop Matt Serra next though.

Michael Bisping crushes Jason Day

Michael Bisping dominated, but he had to. Jason Day got the call to come up and fight an established strong fighter with very little notice . Jason had no chance, but looked ok for the time he lasted in the ring.

Marcus Davis loses to Mike Swick

Decent fight, but not great. It’s weird how Marcus Davis has been in so many fights that his face bleeds fast. Mike barely got a couple elbows in to re-open all of Marc’s old scar tissue. 

Fabricio Werdum beats Brandon Vera

Maybe the fight was stopped a tiny bit premature, but Farbricio was dominating totally at the point of the stoppage. I always cheer for Bradon, but I also still think he would do better dropping down one weight class.
