BJ Penn Vs. Sean Sherk

My guess is that this will be similar to the BJ Penn Matt Hughes fight. BJ will almost submit Sean early, but not quite do it. Then a few tough rounds later Sean will get the win. One of the best UFC fights this year.

At least this fight includes trash talking between Benn and Sherk. With fighters strictly going into the ring to do a job, the overall fight comes across a bit dry. This one should be good.

Wanderlei Silva Vs. Keith Jardine

Silva will focus on putting on a good show, but Jardine will track points, takedowns, and get the win by decision. Maybe a fight shouldn’t be this way, but that is how the UFC rules are structured, so that the more tactical points oriented fighter wins when it goes to the judges. 

Tito Ortiz Vs. Lyoto Machida

I’m hoping for Tito even though Lyoto should probably be the fight favorite. Tito just has too many non-fight things going on like Celebrity Apprentice and Jenna Jameson. Win or lose Tito might pull away even more from fighting to be a dedicated businessman. Machida is the focused fighter rising UFC star.
