Matt Serra Vs. Georges St-Pierre

I have always been a fan of GSP and never one of Serra, so even without match-up analysis I would pick Georges. I am hoping for a first round knock-out by high leg kick. If that happens Serra should be OK career wise for a bit. Maybe Matt can drop a weight class and get to start near the top against BJ Penn.

If GSP wins it will create the awkwardness of who to fight next. The potential title battle with Anderson Silva would be cool. Making that a non title belt fight would be less confusing, but tough on promotion.

Travis Lutter Vs. Rich Franklin

Fan wise I have to hope for the entertaining striker Rich Franklin. Travis Lutter winning with a first round arm bar would be pretty lame. I predict a first round grapple fest with Rich lasting out the round. Then Franklin winning with a second round by early knock-out. Go strikers!

The rest of the fight card looks OK, but not awesome. Just fighters doing their job, no added drama. I thought the second main pay-per-view fight was usually the top contenders to challenge the main event winner next time. Maybe Georges St-Pierre has no-one left at 170 lbs.
