Time Travel

- a new perspective -

Author: J. H. Brennan

Rating: 3/5

Back Cover Snippet: ‘… Is time travel really possible? Temporal anomalies are scattered throughout the world-things that could not possibly belong to the time period in which they were found. Are these anomalies the litter left by time travelers from our future? …’

Comments: This is an ok book to skim for neat ideas, but not a great overall book. I would have liked more digging into the authenticity of the unusual object stories, and less semi-science proof that it is theoretically possible. I would guess anyone reading this specific book would already agree at a minimum that time travel is possible in theory. On a tangent I think it was the ‘Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy’ series that pointed out that if human time travel was possible all the interesting points in history would be crowded with millions of future tourist watching from the bushes trying not to be seen. Overall I am glad I read this book for ideas in the first section ‘The Findings’.
