Shaman M.D. by Eve Bruce M.D.

Full Title: Shaman M.D. - A Plastic Surgeon’s Remarkable Journey into the World of Shapeshifting - by Eve Bruce M.D.

Rating: 4/5

Writing Style: Decent, but not awesome. The word ‘Shapeshifting’ is repeated and used many times.

Summary: A quick life review of Eve Bruce M.D. She is a dual board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and initiated into the Circle of Yachaks (Bird people shamans of the Andes).

Comments:

I liked how Eve’s serpent guide describes the chakras. ‘Through millenia of pulling away from the lower chakras, humans developed the notion of hierarchy, identifying the upper chakras and the cosmic connection to the divine father as all-important and as endangered by the lower chakra energies. This resulted in a great chasm, a division between the masculine and feminine spirit in every human being.’

Dream Change would make for a cool vacation. Their site is here.

I found this pretty good book through a random walk in the library, and next I’ll be looking up the John Perkins books she recommends at the end.
