The UFC 105 show was pretty good thanks to alot of under-card fights and impressive Michael Bisping. If Randy Couture would have showed up to actually fight it would have been a great show.

Randy Couture beats Brandon Vera

Maybe Randy is afraid that if he loses a couple more he’ll be forced to retire like Chuck Liddell. Brandon did pretty good for the couple minutes he wasn’t pressed up against the cage.

Mike Swick loses to Dan Hardy

Mike Swick might be stuck at the Chris Leben level now. Like the gatekeeper for younger rising stars to get through before their title shot, but never quite getting his own. Dan Hardy looked OK. GSP has to fight somebody and Dan Hardy is entertaining to watch.

Michael Bisping beats Denis Kang

Definite fight of the night. The kind of fight not usually in the UFC, more like a movie script fight with the big Michael Bisping comeback late in the match after being beaten down a few times. Pretty cool to see.

So overall if only Randy didn’t do boring ineffective wrestling this would have been a great show and not just a pretty good one.
