UFC 97 looks like a decent fight card, the two main fights should be whoopings, while I am more interested in seeing the other fights.

Anderson Silva Vs. Thales Leites

To shake everything up it would be great for Thales to win.

Chuck Liddell Vs. Mauricio Rua

I hope (and I’m guessing the UFC hopes) that Chuck knocks Mauricio out in the first round to get some positive momentum back in his career. Also because Mauricio looked so lame in his last fight.

Cheick Kongo Vs. Antoni Hardonk

Both of these guys look great, but Cheick keeps getting bumped down by the UFC, so I am hoping for him to win. I think Cheick Kongo versus Brock Lesnar would be a great entertaining heavyweight fight.

Jason MacDonald Vs. Nate Quarry

Another cool fight. If only Jason would win three fights in a row he would be the top contender.

David Loiseau Vs. Ed Herman

I’m not sure how, but I still remember David Loiseau running away from Rich Franklin during a championship match. Since then he has looked pretty good in the other fight shows, plus I was a fan of him before that ‘elusive’ game plan title shot fight, so I am cheering for him.
