108 looks like a builder fight card. No massive celebrity headliners, but some decent rising stars I can cheer for.

Rashad Evans vs Thiago Silva

In the main event both guys were previously knocked out by the current champ Lyoto Machida in 2009. I guess the UFC plan is that one of them has to win… and maybe by 2011 can have another title shot. I’m hoping for Thiago to win, he fits the UFC champ profile better than Rashad. The cancelled fight between Rashad and Rampage Jackson would have been pretty good also.

Dustin Hazelett vs Paul Daley

Paul Daley still hasn’t fought in the UFC very often, but I’m hoping for him to win by knock-out. Or if Dustin Hazelett wins by ‘submission of the night’ he would have three of those in a row. Probably a UFC record.

Junior Dos Santos vs Gilbert Yvel

Gilbert Yvel has a tough UFC debut fight opponent. I’m hoping he puts on a good fight, but I’ll pick Junior Dos Santos to win. Few guys seem to win their debut fights.

The other fights look OK, but no specific fighter I am cheering for. Overall UFC 108 looks alright, and it could be great if the Rashad vs Thiago fight turns out awesome.
