Overall UFC 107 looks decent, but not a Super Star fighter in the main two fights for me to cheer for.

BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez

I’m not really cheering for either guy. Fan-wise they are both sort of average somehow…  hopefully one of them puts on high-light reel fight so I can pick for him next time. Sometimes I think the UFC should move this weight class to WEC and add a super-heavy weight class.

Frank Mir vs Cheick Kongo

Both Frank and Cheick should be on their way out of the UFC…  they need an entertaining fight. Maybe the UFC will keep them around just long enough for TUF rising stars Roy Nelson and Kimbo Slice to beat them.

Jon Fitch vs Mike Pierce

Jon Fitch probably will not get to re-fight GSP for a couple years. Until then I hope he wins every time. His title shot would be sooner if he gained some celebrity points… be in a movie or reality show.

Kenny Florian vs Clay Guida

Too many of Clay Guida fights go to a decision. That wastes too much pay-per-view time and they broadcast fewer undercard fights. For this match I hope Kenny catches Clay in a quick first round submission.

Paul Buentello vs Stefan Struve

I recognize Paul Buentello from the mmaweekly HDNet show and his last Afflication fight wins… He looked good there. I hope he wins a few UFC fights in a row. Sort of an outsider working up to a title shot instead of just reality show winners. His old-school fight experience could take out Brock Lesnar.
