Journeys Out of the Body by Robert A. Monroe

Full Title: The Classic Work on Out-of-Body Experience.

Rating: 4/5

Writing Style: Almost a straightforward writing style. The author is overly concerned with how others view him so it builds an impression that he is holding back information.

Summary: Robert Monroe works through his own study and adventures with out-of-body experiences. The focus is to be bring non-believers a little closer to the idea, and to offer believers some advice on the separation process.

Comments: I thought the book was OK, but not amazing. Maybe the writing style is a little dated even though the content is great. It is definitely required reading for OBE enthusiasts.  Much of the book is spent validating the experience, which is important, but if I already accept the idea I would prefer the precious book space was used going deeper into the mentioned topics. I will look for his Far Journeys next.

I also use the Monroe Hemi-Sync tapes, way before reading this book.
