Day 50 of the Santa Cruz 100 Day Burpee Challenge
I have done 50 days of the 100 day burpee challenge so far. The Santa Cruz info is here. I have never done burpees before this… and I found that the slow increase in total numbers was helpful. The first 10 days were spent figuring out how to do the form right… The next 20 days doing sets of 5 with breaks in between… the next->next 20 days I am now able to do sets of 10 with breaks in between… so hopefully soon I’ll being doing a set of 15 pushup/jumps at a time… and getting up to the 100 burpees a day total won’t be too bad.
Sort of related to this I have switched running styles to better match the POSE method shown on the crossfit endurance site. Now that I have modified over to this running stride for the last couple of weeks I can say running is more of a pure cardio workout and pretty much zero leg pain/injury workout. Pretty cool.
