Clever

- Leading your Smartest, Most Creative People -

Rating: 3/5

Author: Robert Goffee

Inside Jacket Snippet: ‘… highly talented, extraordinary thinkers who need their organizations’ commercial and financial resources to fulfill their potential …’

Comments: The book has a few good paragraphs and ideasĀ scattered throughout, but it’s not consistently good. To lead Clevers you should give freedom, but not too much freedom… you should provide resources, but not un-limited resources… have a corporate heirarchy that’s not top-down, but not totally flat… an entire book of this is a grind to read through. It would be great if the final chapter included the news of mega-clever company Google failing in China.
