CEO Speak

- The Language of Corporate Leadership -

Author: Joel Amernic and Russell Craig

Rating: 4/5

Tiny Book Summary: ‘Deconstructing the double-speak of CEOs from Bill Gates to Jack Welch’

Comments: The book is not exactly entertaining to read, but probably does a business person some good to grind through it. I am not used to reading a writing style so critical and jaded, but that style does suit the focus of this book.  I don’t think the target audience for this book will ever just casually read it, it might have to be forced upon students in under-grad business courses. Overall this book does pick apart CEO’s public writings very well and the book teaches you some skills to psycho-analyze your own favorite corporate web-sites. CEO Speak is depressingly accurate.
