Ants Defending their Eggs
Another great Flickr hosted photo by Kamran Ahmed. Insects rock. I felt like including an ant photo since I am now reading ‘Intelligence in Nature’ by Jeremy Narby. His book includes sections on -> ‘Fungus-growing ants using antibiotic-producing bacteria to control garden parasites’. Demonstrating the smart-ness of nature, if not quite human intelligence.
